Parking
  • Main entry for most visitors: enter through the Valparaiso Avenue Gate (closest to El Camino Real). Follow signs for SHP Parking.

  • From there, it’s a short walk to the Dunlevie Aquatic Center, located near the rear (southwest corner) of campus, adjacent to the athletic fields.

  • For large swim meets, overflow parking is typically directed to the Lower & Middle School lot or the parking lot off Park Lane.

  • Important: The SHS Dunlevie Aquatic Center Parking Lot is unavailable to spectators on both Friday and Saturday. This lot is reserved for permitted team vans and officials only!

  • Friday: Spectators should park on Park Lane (East direction only – this is the side closest to the pool) and enter through the pedestrian side gate marked with balloons. The Dunlevie Aquatic Center is located across from the soccer field.

Saturday: Enter the Elena Avenue campus gate and park in the SHP student parking lot. The pool is located on the other side of the baseball diamond. Spectators may also enter through the Park Lane campus gate and park in the SHS Lower and Middle Schools lot. The Dunlevie Aquatic Center is located on the right, just past the parking lot.

Parking Directions
Location: The pool is located on the campus of Palo Alto High School. 

Parking Spots / Options

  • There is a parking lot at the school off Embarcadero Road that may be used for event or evening parking

  • After regular school hours, campus parking is more open

  • Along El Camino Real, parking is allowed until 4:00 p.m., but be very careful entering/exiting since it’s a busy road

  • Be cautious: some recent changes have restricted parking on El Camino Real (e.g. “No Parking” zones along certain stretches) in Palo Alto. 

This site is managed and maintained by Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton,  which was founded by the Society of Sacred Heart, and is a Catholic, independent, co-ed day school for students in preschool through grade 12.
